Fort Naole is the highest-elevation military construction of all the Rivoli forts, at an altitude of 1675 m above sea level.
To reach it, the military built a long, windy road that lead from Lumini to Pra Bestema and, after numerous switchbacks, finally to the Fort. The road was subsequently extended all the way to Rifugio Telegrafo. The structure is made up of barracks for the troops and two artillery posts, one located on the North side, and one on the South side.
