The “Great Wall”

Not far past Monte Sparavero (1516 m), you may reach and follow a long, typical dry stone wall which stretches all the way to Bocchetta di Naole.

This sort of “Great Wall” of Monte Baldo had the purpose of confining and protecting livestock from the cliffs to the East.

As you walk along the wall, you’ll enjoy beautiful panoramas, from Novezza to the North to the morainic amphitheatre of Rivoli and Lake Garda below. The ridge on the left hand side lends itself to fantastic views as well.
