The contrada gets its name from its historically and artistically most important building: “Ca’ dei Montagna”. There are no rustic courts here, but rather scattered houses and buildings. Here you will find the local municipal building – rebuilt in the late 70’s after a fire that destroyed the previous one, which was characterized by nineteenth century architecture -, elementary and middle schools, medical clinic, pharmacy, the local bus terminus..
